Delyse Pretorius, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TennisSafari, was born and raised in Kimberley, South Africa and left at age 18 after receiving a tennis scholarship to Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida where she was ranked as All-American in both singles and doubles for all 4 years. After more than 20 years abroad, she still calls South Africa home. Delyse founded TennisSafari as a way to give back to her country while sharing South Africa's diverse wildlife, landscapes, and cultures. Her mission is to provide travelers with an opportunity to explore Africa through tennis while making a positive impact on people’s lives.
Each travel adventure will include time playing tennis on African clay courts and a safari in Africa's most pristine and untouched wilderness regions. What could be better than waking up to the sound of lions roaring, smelling African soil, seeing the most beautiful animals on this planet in their natural habitat, followed by a game of tennis?
